To be able to alter or modify, to suit the needs of a changed situation or condition is crucial for avoiding an uncomfortable atmosphere and to fit in to a newer level. It is the basic coping mechanism needed for an individual to withstand stressful and inconvenient situations.

Wise people adapt themselves to circumstances rather than refusing to change and bear the brunt of the situation. Coming out of years of conditioned mind and giving up habits developed over a long period of time are not easy—but when it comes to go along with times and trends, individuals have to be emotionally adaptive to the changes in life.
